The project
Phronesys transforms its on-premise environment into a modern, secure SaaS platform on AWS with NubeX
Phronesys partnered with NubeX to define and execute a Cloud Strategy Roadmap aimed at transforming their traditional hosting environment—based on physical servers—into a secure, high-performance cloud platform to host their SaaS applications for end customers.
The collaboration started with a detailed analysis of technical and non-technical requirements to design and implement a tailored AWS-based architecture. NubeX migrated the existing infrastructure to a secure public cloud setup, leveraging containerized workloads on Amazon EKS and integrating modern DevOps practices based on GitOps with ArgoCD.
In parallel, NubeX guided Phronesys and their software partners through the adoption of the new platform and its integration into their development and release workflows. A secure and scalable environment was built using AWS services like Route53, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Cognito, and more. Key security features such as WAF, CloudFront, and centralized secret management were integrated from the start.
Additionally, NubeX assisted in domain migration from Combell to AWS, implemented automated onboarding flows for new SaaS customers using Step Functions and Lambda, and supported the full containerization and deployment of existing applications.
Phronesys chose to extend their collaboration with NubeX by entrusting them with the operational management of the cloud platform, including DevOps support, cloud monitoring (via CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana), backup, patching, service delivery, and cloud security advisory.
This modernized cloud platform is now the foundation on which Phronesys delivers secure, scalable, and high-quality SaaS services to its customers—supported by a strong, proactive partnership with NubeX.
